Palazzo Ricci Museum

Palazzo Ricci Petrocchini is one of the most important palaces in Macerata and is also the headquarters of the Foundation Cassa di Risparmio of the Province of Macerata. It holds a remarkable collection of paintings and sculptures of the most important Italian artists of the 20th century.

The preliminary design for the overall organization of the Palazzo, curated by ME, envisions annexing the adjacent Palazzo Galeotti and offers a remodeling of the museum with the following essential elements: definition of the entryways and the paths, finding spaces for the new public services and re-organizing the collections by separating the 20th century art collection from the antique furnishings of the Palazzo.
